We all start somewhere.
There is no one way to heal. Discover resources and find what works for you.
Nurturing kinder and safer communities for survivors of childhood trauma through resource connection, awareness-building, and early support for young adults.
The Reality
Childhood trauma can have lifelong consequences. Research shows that traumatic experiences in childhood are associated with increased risk of poor health outcomes, revictimization, and intergenerational violence.
But increased risk is not destiny. Early access to resources, support, education, and trauma-informed communities can help survivors recognize their experiences, understand their needs, and pursue pathways toward healing.
Those with four or more adverse childhood experiences are
12 times more likely to attempt suicide
7 times more likely to struggle with alcoholism
10 times more likely to use injection drugs
