The Emotion Body Code: Our Talk With Aisha Ahmed

Aisha Ahmed is a Certified Body Code™ Practitioner and PSYCH-K® Facilitator. Based on the principles of quantum science, she discovered this healing system developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, which was designed to release trapped emotions and trigger our body’s capacity to self-heal. Her practices focus on using the power of the subconscious mind to rewire our old belief systems. She aims to help others transform their energetic blocks, trapped emotions, and limiting beliefs –so they can move through life feeling clear and confident in their career, relationships and mindset.

SWY: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and why you came into this work?

AA: My name is Aisha Ahmed and I am a Certified Body Code™ Practitioner and PSYCH-K® Facilitator with a demonstrated history of working in the Energy Psychology Industry. I help people who have tried everything and lost hope in their healing to take back their power and step into freedom and fulfillment, so they can remember their true potential and purpose in life. My mission is to make healing easy for the masses and get people out of the misery of their emotional baggage and limiting beliefs and that’s why I have dedicated myself to this work.

SWY: In your practice, you focus on the Emotion and Body Code - Can you tell us more about this method and how it works?

AA: The Emotion Code is the latest form of energy healing created by Dr. Bradley Nelson, in which we use muscle-testing (Kinesiology) to determine which negative emotions are trapped in your body, and then releasing each trapped emotion one at a time. As the most comprehensive holistic approach to healing, The Body Code is a total wellness solution. It is intended to help you restore your health and wellness by resolving the underlying imbalances causing physical, mental, or emotional distress. The Body Code™ is intended to help you uncover root causes of discomfort, sickness, and suffering in body and spirit — so you can have the opportunity to make corrections right on the spot.

SWY: In combination with the Emotion and Body Code, you use PSYCH-K - Can please you explain what this is and what it stands for?

AA: PSYCH-K® is a user-friendly way to rewrite the software of your mind and change the printout of your life! Based on years of split-brain research, also known as Brain Dominance Theory, PSYCH-K® provides a variety of ways to quickly identify and transform beliefs that ‘limit’ you into beliefs that ‘support’ you, in any area of your life. Many people harbor self-limiting subconscious beliefs in areas of spirituality, self-esteem, health and body issues, financial abundance, relationship, or career. In PSYCH-K we use a unique blend of various tools for change, some contemporary and some ancient, derived from contemporary neuroscience research, as well as ancient mind/body wisdom. It is a process that transcends the standard methods of visualization, affirmations, will power, and positive thinking and is especially effective in the areas of behavioral/habit change, wellness, and stress reduction.

SWY: How are these methods different from traditional trauma therapy methods?

AA: This work brings about healing at the deepest levels, the subconscious mind level. The subconscious mind creates over ninety percent of our lives. In fact, it isn’t situated in your physical brain, but throughout every cell of your entire body. As we navigate through life, things get stuck in the subconscious mind creating false programming and negative belief systems. Most people are often unaware of the subconscious blocks as we are programmed to associate everything to external circumstances. My work is to take you on an inner journey, going deep within to heal your scars and remove limiting beliefs from your subconscious mind painlessly and effortlessly. These tools can be a great compliment to the traditional therapy methods where the practitioner works with the conscious mind of the client. SWY: What do you think are the benefits one will receive from trying your kind of trauma therapy?

AA: These techniques have been found to greatly relieve and even eliminate chronic pain, clear blocks to one’s creativity, remove barriers to moving forward with life goals, and frees the heart to find love and happiness. My clients have reported positive outcomes with reduction of physical discomfort, love, and relationships, financial abundance, creativity, emotional well-being, generational trauma clearing, addictions, stress transformation, anxiety, creating more success, and so on. Most importantly it empowers people to understand how their bodies are capable of healing naturally and they are in charge of their emotions which in turn brings a change in their outlook towards life.

SWY: On your Instagram page, you talk about inherited emotional baggage - Can you please explain what this is, some signs of it, and ways that one can overcome it?

AA: When someone experiences a traumatic event or suffers through prolonged negativity, it is easy to understand why they may be on an emotional roller coaster. But if you are struggling with a constant inexplicable sense of hopelessness or sadness, with no specific situation to identify as the trigger, you may be dealing with emotional inheritance.

If you have caught yourself saying things like:

  • We are always treated badly and feel oppressed

  • Anger runs in our family and we are all very easily triggered

  • My family has always struggled with money. It’s part of our family history

  • Nobody in our family ever had a long-lasting marriage

Your subconscious mind believes this to be your truth and will continue to bring people, situations, and events in your life to fulfill this truth. You may be feeling this but the feeling didn’t originate with you, but with one of your ancestors. It could go back many years, having become trapped generations earlier and passed down to you via inherited emotional energy.

At Emory University, experiments conducted on mice found that a traumatic event can leave an imprint in the DNA of sperm, hence affecting the behaviors of future generations. This emerging science is known as “transgenerational epigenetic inheritance” or epigenetics. It is becoming more apparent that these influences may create a chemical fingerprint on genetic material, and then be transferred to you by one or both biological parents (Source: discover healing). The good news is that by using the ideas and practices in The Emotion Code, we have the capability to release not only your current trapped emotions but also inherited emotions from past generations, alive or deceased.

In my practice, I have noticed that when we understand emotional inheritance fully, we are better equipped to resolve a variety of physical and emotional blocks. By identifying and releasing these Inherited energies and Inherited limiting beliefs from your subconscious mind, we enable the body to restore itself from many physical, mental, and emotional conditions.

SWY: In your opinion, why do you think intergenerational trauma occurs?

AA: The emotional and traumatic experiences of our parents and ancestors leave a mark on their genes which can be transferred to the offsprings. Without going into the scientific side of things, I believe from the spiritual perspective it allows us to dive deeper into understanding ourselves better by understanding our lineage. It is an opportunity to find the common bond, what are your parents, or grandparents' beliefs about certain aspects of life such as relationships, money, spirituality, body, etc. You’ll be surprised that there is more common ground than you would have thought. Also, I think of it as a sacred opportunity to give back to our ancestors and heal what they were not able to heal. When you work on yourself and identify your generational blocks and clear those inherited energies, you are clearing them from the whole lineage, from those who have passed on and from those who are yet to come after you. This in itself is a huge blessing.

SWY: What do you think we need to accomplish as a society to break the cycle of intergenerational trauma?

AA: I think if we stop living in the illusion of separation and truly understand that we are all ONE and we are all very deeply connected, we can express more empathy towards each other and create a space for everyone to explore, express, and discuss intergenerational trauma in a healthy way. We also need more people to talk about this to the masses so that people understand the way their trauma (inherited, or their own experienced trauma) can effect their families and society as a whole, and to make the tools to release these energies readily accessible.
